The Load/current per phase we can draw from a 100 kVA 3 phase UPS , we use the formula:

Current Calculation for 100 KVA UPS (3 Phase)

Current per phase (I) = (kVA × 1000) / (√3 × Voltage)

For a 400V 3-phase system:

I = 100,000 / (√3 × 400) I ≈ 100,000 / 692.8 I ≈ 144.3 Amps

At full load, a 100 kVA 3 phase UPS will supply approximately 145 amps per phase .

This assumes a power factor of 1.0.

If the power factor is lower (like 0.9 or 0.8), the usable kW output drops, but kVA and current remain the same.
